The college has a very successful Students' Union, run by Brighton MET students with support from two staff members to promote social, cultural and recreational activities. All part-time students are able to join the National Union of Students and receive the NUS card. This offers discounts both locally and nationally at cinemas, music stores, clubs, clothes stores, hairdressers and restaurants.
The Union organises many different events throughout the year including a talent show, trips to Amsterdam and Dublin and many sporting activities including inter-college football matches and basketball.
At Brighton MET, you will find the Central Cafe (Central Campus) and East Cafe (East Campus) which offer excellent value and fantastic variety. We are open throughout the day with a breakfast, lunch and early evening service. There is also the popular Coffee Stop and Grab and Go shop at the Central Campus with drinks and vending machines at both sites.
