The College has two main campuses and a plumbing campus in Brighton and Hove. Our Central College campus is located in the centre of the ‘city by the sea’. Brighton is a major educational centre with a large international student population who enjoy its relaxed, cosmopolitan air, buzzing nightlife and thriving culture.
Our City College East campus (located close to Brighton Marina) includes state-of-the-art dance and music practice studios, journalist news room, sports facilities for Public Services and Sports courses as well as housing our 14-16 Construction Trade Centre and Brickwork department.
City College’s bright, modern and welcoming new Student Centre at the Pelham Campus provides a highly convenient ‘one stop shop’ for both current and potential new students. At the centre, experienced staff are on hand to help you with course advice & guidance, admissions & enrolment enquiries, Student Services (including financial support and the City Jobs employment service), Adult & Community Learning enquiries and careers advice. The centre also provides advice and information for International students.
Whether you’re into competitive sport or just keeping fit, City College’s offers free Sports facilities to help keep you at the top of your game. We have two full-size all-weather pitches, grass sports fields, an indoor sports hall at Stanley Deason Leisure Centre (on campus) and a full-equipped gym with all the latest cardiovascular exercise and weights machines plus a boxing ring and training facilities.
The LRC is located on the second floor of Pelham Tower. Here you will be able to access a wide range of resources. There are over 40,000 books, 3,000 ebooks, 300 current periodicals, nearly 2,000 DVDs and a large collection of music CDs. There are over 3,000 videos, mostly television programmes, available as streamed media via the CCB TV site. The LRC acts as an IT drop-in centre for the main campus and contains 87 workstations, and five multi-functional devices which function as printers (both black and white and colour), photocopiers and flatbed scanners.
Dedicated IT drop-in suites are available across the College for course assignment work.

The College’s exciting new training restaurant at the American Express Community Stadium, City College @ East Central Brasserie’ caters for customers who need an ‘express lunch’ and to be in and out within thirty minutes. Examples of the type of dishes the students are preparing under the supervision of trained chefs include roasted beetroot and goats’ cheese crostini , chargrilled chicken thigh on crostini with olive tapenade, salmon fishcakes, tartar sauce, salad and potatoes, plus traditional favourites such as quarter pound burger with Sussex cheese and wedges. The College has recently re-launched its travel agency, City Travel, in new premises on the second floor of Pelham Tower. The agency, which is open to the public, is owned and run by the College in partnership with Hays Travel and gives students on Travel & Tourism courses the opportunity to get real life work experience within a live travel agency. City Travel’s offer includes short breaks, low cost flights, package holidays, cheap luxury cruises, long haul flights and tailor-made getaways. All educational/College trips are booked through City Travel and all profits from the agency are fed back into the College to support students in their studies and enrichment activities. The College has a very successful Students' Union, run by City College students with support from two staff members to promote social, cultural and recreational activities. All part-time students are able to join the National Union of Students and receive the NUS card. This offers discounts both locally and nationally at cinemas, music stores, clubs, clothes stores, hairdressers and restaurants.
The Union organises many different events throughout the year including a Talent Show, trips to Amsterdam and Dublin. It also arranges many sporting activities including inter-College football matches and basketball
You will find refectories on both the City College Central and East campuses that offer excellent value and fantastic variety. We are open throughout the day with a breakfast, lunch and early evening service. A Grab and Go shop is available at Central campus with drinks and vending machines at both sites.
