Albion in the Community

The Bridge Community Learning Centre

The Bridge is a vibrant community education centre based in Moulsecoomb. The Bridge team are passionate about providing people, their families and their communities with an opportunity to reach their full potential through a wide range of learning experiences. These include courses, information, advice and guidance (about learning choices) with our Learning and Participation Team, personal development routes, career planning or volunteering. As well as providing advice and courses for all ages it also has a range of rooms for hire with good disabled access, free off street parking and free wifi.

Prince’s Trust

 The Prince’s Trust is a youth charity that gives practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills such as confidence and motivation. The Trust works with 14 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. The Trust has helped more than 600,000 young people since 1976 and supports 100 more each working day.

Rockinghorse Children's Charity

Rockinghorse is a Brighton-based charity which has been supporting children for over 45 years. Rockinghorse is the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital (the Alex) and also supports the Trevor Mann Baby Unit (TMBU), where it raises money for life-saving and cutting-edge medical equipment, while ensuring that children are treated in an environment that is better suited to their needs.

Sussex County Cricket Club

Sussex County Cricket Club is the oldest of the 18 major county clubs which make up the English and Welsh domestic cricket structure, representing the historic county of Sussex. The Cricket Club and City College have joined forces to launch the ‘Sussex Student Partnership’, an exciting new initiate aimed at providing transformative and meaningful opportunities for local young people to raise and shape their aspirations. Youth Employability Service

Unemployed young people living in Brighton & Hove, aged 16-18, can get help from the Youth Employability Service, part of Brighton & Hove City Council. The Service helps young people to find work, training or college courses. Our advisers work hard to keep up to date with all the latest options.
