Good links with the local performing arts industry has led to students performing in major shows, as well as the Brighton Festival as part of their course. The includes New World Order by Harold Pinter with site specific company Hydrocracker, The Guardian pick of the Year 2007. Other projects have included producing work with Desperate Men.
Brighton is rich in culture and has a tradition of attracting top plays fresh from the West End and smaller shows that are featured in its Fringe Festival - making studying Drama and Acting at City College very attractive.
