City College Mentoring Programme

City College Mentoring Programme

The Mentoring programme at City College is designed to match fully trained volunteer mentors with students who need support. The support offered can cover a variety of issues, these may include confidence, organisation and goal setting but may also be related to your course e.g. a mentor could help you plan assignments. The programme offers two types of mentors:

Peer Mentor

This is a more experienced student who will meet with a student one-to-one to offer support and guidance with study skills, writing essays and confidence building etc.

Industry and Community Mentors

These are people from local businesses and the local community who can help students with life and career goals as well as supporting them with their studies.

If you would like to have a mentor, or become a mentor, then please email mentoring@ccb.ac.uk or ring 01273 667788 extension 493 to make an appointment.

Apply to be an Industry and Community Mentor

If you are interested in becoming an Industry or Community Mentor, please download the City College Mentoring Guide and Application Form (PDF, 377kb)
