We have a diverse range of vocational sports courses at all levels, which give students the opportunity to learn in a practical and applied environment.
Most of the courses and activities are run from our City College East campus, which benefits from excellent outdoor and indoor facilities – including full-size, all-weather and grass pitches, an indoor sports hall, dance studio and a gym.
There are a number of City College sports teams that compete locally and nationally in league and cup competitions, against other colleges. If you are a more recreational sportsperson, then there also a number of clubs and activities that are open to students of all abilities.
The department benefits from enthusiastic and experienced sports tutors, who have many links in the industry that will help graduates find employment in sport and leisure.
