You will learn about trowel trades. You will
practise hand skills and build one brick and half
brick walls. You will learn about the tools and materials used in Brickwork and how to safely handle, use and
store them.

You might progress to the full-time Foundation Construction Award on leaving school, or, if you
have employment with a suitable company you could progress to the NVQ Level 2 either through ‘day release’ or an Apprenticeship.
Entry Requirements:
Learners must be able to work safely in a potentially dangerous environment. Learners must be willing to try all aspects of this course and be able to work as part of a team.
