Course content:
The course will cover the following:

Observational drawing
The production of final outcomes
Research into Artists and Designers
Awareness of health and safety and the safe use of tools, techniques and processes
Group critiques and self evaluation
Independent developmental work outside of College hours

Facilities for students:

Use of Art studios during taught lesson time
Well stocked LRC (learning resource centre) with excellent Art and Design books and use of computers, some of which have Photoshop software.
Black and white colour photocopiers
Small art shop for the purchase of basic art materials

Tutors:
Tutors within the Centre for the Visual Arts are highly qualified, enthusiastic & experienced. They provide a wide range of professional expertise and skills. Many are also practising Artists/Designers and well as Educators.
