Course summary: This course aims to enable students to create silver jewellery of their own design. Students will develop skills in design, soldering and piercing with a jewellery saw, filing and polishing. Your first project will be to design and make a silver ring and then you will have an opportunity to create another piece of your own design. This is a beginners level course. Base metal is supplied free but you will need to pay approximately £5 to £10 for silver and 25p for sawblades directly to the tutor. Please wear suitable workshop clothing and bring an apron, sketch/notebook and pen.
