Course aims:
This hands on course is a great opportunity for you to develop your photographic skills and respond to a chosen theme. You’ll produce a body of photographic work whilst improving techniques in a fun and encouraging environment.
Students to bring their own cameras USB download cables, memory cards/ and or film. Some of the sessions may be on location. There will be an element on presentation techniques including mounting and showcasing your work online.

Assessment: During the course students will receive ongoing feedback through group and 1-1 tutoring about their work completed during the 6 weeks. They will be encouraged to present their final work to the group/ tutor.

Progression and links:
Students undertaking this course will produce a body of work that could contribute towards a portfolio of evidence for application to other Further Education courses.
Producing a coherent body of work will enable the student to showcase it to Picture editors or send in to competitions.
