Course content:
An introduction to several traditional and experimental printmaking techniques. Learn how to make simple blocks. Develop your creative ideas to design and print a linocut. Produce monoprints using a variety of mark making techniques. Experiment with colour. Print on a range of different types of paper. Learn how to proof and edition a print.
By the end of the day you will have produced a range of prints as well as a small edition.
Suitable for beginners and those with some experience.
Please bring an apron. An equipment list will be sent prior to the start of the course. There will be a materials charge of £5 payable to the tutor on the day.
