Course content:
Open up the wonderful world of swimming and all of its associated benefits.

This course is designed to help any adult who has little or no swimming experience and may be very nervous around water.

The course will introduce you to basic swimming skills and strokes whilst at the same time help build your confidence in the water.

The lessons take place in a relaxed, friendly and adult only environment.

You will learn:

Safe entries and exits
Floating
Regaining the standing position
Kicking
Submersion.

The exact course content is tailored to help every swimmer meet their individual goals.

As you develop and grow as a swimmer we also provide Adult Intermediate and Adult Improvers courses as well as our Pool to Pier open water swimming programme.

One to one and two to one lessons are also available to meet an individual’s specific swimming needs.

This course is run in association with City College and Brighton Swimming School.

Facilities for students:
Both venues are larger swimming pools suitable for all learning needs.

Parking is available on site (unless notified otherwise)

Separate male and female changing rooms.

All floats and equipment used in the lessons are provided (except costumes, swimming hats or goggles).

Tutors:
Brighton Swimming School has been providing swimming lessons for over 20 years. All our staff are friendly and enthusiastic and our teachers are ASA or STA qualified. Every session is also overseen by a lifeguard.
