Customer Service Apprenticeships in Brighton

 

Customer Service is relevant to hundreds of job roles – so it’s a great foundation for getting into any industry – from retail or banking to hospitality or healthcare. You could become a customer service assistant, customer relationship manger or senior advisor. During your Apprenticeship you’ll develop skills that are valuable to employers in any sector.


Duration: 18 Months

Start Date: Roll-On/Roll-Off

Course Content: You will learn, develop and practice the skills required to work in a customer service environment which will include:

  • Dealing with problems and complaints
  • Working within customer service practices
  • Understanding the customer journey
  • Working with internal and external customers face-to-face, over the telephone, email and social media
  • Working and developing within a team
  • Conforming to general health and safety in the workplace
  • Moving, handling and storing resources in the workplace

Assessment: Assessment will be through a range of assessment techniques including workplace observations and the production of a portfolio of workplace evidence and knowledge.

Progression: Following successful completion of the Apprenticeship you may want to further develop your skills by enrolling onto a Level 3 qualification.

Entry Requirements: To do this course you are required to have one of the following 5 GCSEs grade A – E to include English and Maths or an equivalent level 1 qualification in the same vocational subject.

  • Managing problems and complaints
  • Developing and improving customer service practices
  • Understanding the customer journey and interpreting customer feedback
  • Working with internal and external customers face-to-face, over the telephone, email and social media
  • Managing and developing a team
  • Understanding how to retain customers and resolve service issues
  • Conforming to general health and safety in the workplace
  • Moving, handling and storing resources in the workplace

Assessment: Assessment will be through a range of assessment techniques including workplace observations and the production of a portfolio of workplace evidence and knowledge.

Progression: Following successful completion of the Apprenticeship you may want to further develop your skills within a customer service environment.
