What is e-learning?

E-learning is a term used to describe how we use technology to support students with their learning whilst they study at City College. The use of technology is an important part of curriculum delivery across all our subject areas, with many aspects of our award winning utilisation regarded as exemplars of good practice by organisations such as Ofsted and JISC.

How does it help our students?

We pride ourselves on providing a modern, innovative and supportive learning environment for our students. For example, at the moment we are running a number of pilot schemes across the college to investigate how we can best facilitate the use of mobile devices such as Android tablets, iPads and Smartphones to support our teaching and learning.
