How do I pay?

Payments can be made by cash, cheque, credit/debit card (we do not accept American Express or Diners cards), direct bank transfers or direct debit. Contact the Finance Office for further details on 01273 667788 ext 338 or 324 or email: finance@ccb.ac.uk.

Can I pay in installments?

As long as your fees are greater than £50 you will be able to enter a part payment agreement with the College. You will need to pay at least 25% of your fees when you enrol and will be asked to enter into a direct debit agreement for the remainder of your fees. You will also need to sign an agreement that you will pay all the course fees, even if you withdraw from the course.

What happens if I cannot attend the course any more?

The College operates a strict no refund policy for cancellations. Circumstances such as illness, work commitments or relocation are not considered for refunds.

Refunds are made in full only where the College cancels a course prior to its start or a pro rata refund during its commencement. When a tutor cancels a class every endeavour will be made to make this up. If a student is unable to attend this replacement class no refund will be payable.

Must I take an exam/assessment?

If you enrol on courses leading to qualifications you are expected to enter or register for the examination/assessment at the appropriate time. Most examination fees will be included in your course fees unless otherwise stated.

What else do I have to pay?

You are expected to provide yourself with the appropriate books and materials for your courses. In some circumstances these may be available from the Course Tutor or the Centre.

What happens if my course hasn't got enough enrolments?

Courses may be cancelled if minimum enrolment numbers are not achieved and/or maintained through the duration of the course. Students may be offered the alternative of a reduction in course hours for the same fee, transfer to another course or request a pro-rata refund of the fee.
