These courses have a single fee and there are no concessions available.
Please note in some cases a full cost course requires an interview to ensure suitability for the course level.

Adult and Community Learning Courses

These courses have a course code beginning with the number 0

Some of these courses are supported for learners on low incomes and for those seeking a pathway into education.
Please note that the 10% discount for full fee payment does not apply to these courses.

The concession fee applies for learners on the following types of benefits, for each of these you will also need to supply the following types of documentary evidence:

Income Support (IS), Housing Benefit (HB), Council Tax Benefit (CTB)

IS/HB/CTB letter dated within 3 months showing learner name, current address and benefi t received OR a letter older than 3 months supported by a current bank statement (dated within 3 months) showing regular benefit receipts.

Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) (Excludes courses averaging more than 16 guided learning hours per week)

JSA Letter dated within 3 months showing learner name, current address and benefit received OR a JSA letter older than 3 months supported by a current bank statement (dated within 3 months) showing regular receipt of JSA. (ES40 JSA benefit book not acceptable).

Working Tax Credit (WTC) (Excludes Child Tax Credit)

Current year Inland Revenue WTC Award Notice TC602 (original only) showing total annual household income less than £15,276, learner name and current address.

Guarantee Pension Credit (GPC) (Part-time courses only)

Current Year Pension Service GPC Award Notice (original only) showing learner name and current address. (Acceptable together with Savings Pension Credit - SPC not acceptable on its own).

Employment & Support Allowance (ESA)

Letter/notice dated within the last 3 months showing learner name, current address and benefi t received OR a letter older than 3 months supported by a current bank statement (dated within 3 months) showing regular benefit receipts.

Unwaged Dependent(named spouse/partner/adult dependent of income based benefit claimant)

Benefit letter dated within 3 months showing learner as named dependent of benefit claimant at same current address and benefit received OR a letter older than 3 months supported by a current bank statement (dated within 3 months) showing regular benefit receipts.

Supported Asylum Seekers/Refugees

Letter or notice proving receipt of means tested benefit (as above) or equivalent, dated within 3 months OR a letter/ notice older than 3 months supported by a current bank statement or Post Office receipts (dated within 3 months) showing regular receipt of benefits.
