Students are taught on the Main Pelham tower site, using class rooms where work can be displayed and practical demonstrations can take place.
Tutors:
We have fantastic team of Health and Social Care professionals that have all worked in the industry and bring these experiences into their lessons.
Assessment: Each unit has an end assignment which needs to be completed and passed in order to achieve the qualification.

Entry Requirements:
Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade G or better, an equivalent Entry level qualification (eg BTEC, City & Guilds, NOCN) or suitability at interview.

Progression and links:
Once you have completed this Diploma you may gain employment as a trainee in a Care Home, Nursery , Play Group, or even enter the world of Health and work in a Hospital.
Alternatively, you may wish to progress your skills and knowledge on the Level 2 Intermediate diploma.

Free Study and Financial Support
All full time courses are free to EU residents who are under 19 years old on the 31st August 2012. The only fees you have to pay are for specialist resources and equipment and the cost of these varies from £25 to £300 depending upon the subject you are studying.
Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for financial help from the college's learner support funds. You should apply for financial support as soon as you receive your offer letter.
