Course aims:
This computerised accounting course is an opportunity for you to develop your skills in computerised accounting on the popular and widely used Sage Line 50 accounting system.
You’ll cover a range of accounting areas such as the advanced operation of sales and purchase ledgers, the preparation of financial reports and statements and more. The skills learnt on this course will increase your employability and are also an excellent addition to your knowledge if you are working for yourself or starting a business.

Students are encouraged to make full use of the college’s excellent Library and refectory facilities and to make use of the virtual learning environment which can be accessed on-line. The library has a large number of computers available for student use out of class.

Entry Requirements:
Students joining the Level 3 computerised book-keeping course are required to have completed the level 2 computerised accounting course, have a similar qualification or previous experience of computerised book-keeping.

The cost of these courses are split into 3 categories. Category 1: If you are aged between 19-23 years and are studying at the level of your chosen course for the first time. This applies to Level 1, 2 and 3 courses. If this is your first level 3 course, the upper age limit is 24. Category 2: If you are in receipt of a 'work- related' benefit such as Job Seekers Allowance, or that you can self-certify (sign a form) that you are actively seeking work. Category 3: if you do not sit within Categories 1 or 2, this will be the cost you will need to pay for your course.
