Course aims:
This is a short course for electricians wishing to extend their knowledge of
Electrical Inspection and Testing.

The course is 11 weeks long and includes the theory and practise of inspection and testing.

Assessment is by two exams, a theory paper and a practical exam.

Facilities for students:
This course is based at the Main Campus for City College in the heart of Brighton.

The Electrical Section is in a purpose-built unit, with modern, well-equipped workshop facilities and classrooms with computers.

There is an excellent cafeteria service in the Tower Block and central Brighton with many cafes etc is on our doorstep.

Tutors:
The Electrical Department consist of a committed and experienced team of lecturers and assessors.

All our staff are qualified and experienced electricians.

We have a mixture of fulltime and part-time staff.

Assessment: You will be assessed by:

Awarding Body: C&G

Entry Requirements:
This course is for practising and experienced electricians.

Entry is by interview only.

It is expected that people taking this course already have some experience of inspection and testing of electrical installations
