Course aims:
This literacy course is designed to prepare you for starting a GCSE English course in September 2012.

You'll develop the skills needed to feel confident in progressing your English skills to a GCSE standard.

You'll be taught in a supportive environment to ensure you fulfill your potential.

Course content:
On this course, you will learn about:

spelling, punctuation and grammar
how to plan writing
different formats and styles
reading for understanding
