Course aims:
Have you moved to the UK from abroad to live or work? Would you like to improve your English speaking skills?

Our ESOL courses will help you to learn or develop your English to a level that will help you integrate into the country and be successful at work, home and as a UK citizen.

We have courses at a range of levels to suit new English speakers, to more experienced users. Our courses are very well respected and have had a lot of excellent feedback from previous students. So if you’re looking to develop your English language skills, we offer a friendly and established environment for you to learn.

Facilities for students:
ESOL learners have full access to the library, canteen and sports clubs.

You are able to access the e-learning facilities provided by the College. These include computers in the classroom, the Library and ‘Moodle’, an interactive learning tool which promotes independent study. Students also have the opportunity to engage in enrichment activities.

Awarding Body: Edexcel

Entry Requirements:
For all courses, you will need to attend one of the assessment dates which are advertised three times a year in the Advice and Guidance department on the ground floor of Pelham Tower. Tickets to attend an assessment are given out at 8am on the day of the test.

Attending an assessment session does not guarantee you will have a place on a course. This will depend on the spaces available, your level and the times of the classes.

You should bring proof of identity, any benefit documents and any English certificates that you have been given in the past.

Once you have passed all the parts of Entry 3 you may be able to do some other college courses. We will help you to find the best course for you.

The College has a Careers Advice Service and we can help you arrange an interview with an advisor.

Work experience opportunities:
Work experience is not included in the course, but classes will prepare learners for working in the UK..
