Course aims:
This hands on course is for you if you’re 19+ and require industry relevant skills that will enable them to re-enter the workplace with technical and practical filmmaking skills.
You’ll develop you knowledge, skills and training in a variety of filmmaking disciplines such as technical instruction, Sony Z1 camera operations, lighting techniques, editing in Final Cut Pro and many more.
This course is ideal if you’d like to develop your skills for the workplace or seek freelance opportunities with confidence.
Course content:
On this course you will learn about:
Working in crews, you will research and rotate roles and responsibilities, produce a synopsis and treatment in preparation for a pitching session and develop the successful scripts into a 5 minute short film.
Facilities for students:
The College has a new iMac editing suite that will give all students access to their own edits, broadcast quality cameras and sound recording equipment.
