Course aims:
As an essential qualification for many jobs and courses, GCSE English aims to develop your oral communication, language, reading and creative writing skills. GCSE English is essential in most workplaces and a basic requirement for courses of further study.
We had 100% achievement at grade ‘C’ and above last year.
Course content:
The course comprises of the study of a variety of texts, the development of writing skills (including punctuation and spelling) and involvement in speaking and listening activities. The course is assessed using a series of controlled assessments througout the course and a final exam at the end.
