Please note: While an ability to draw freehand is not a prerequisite for being accepted on the course, you will be required to explore different ways of drawing and model making to communicate your design ideas.

The emphasis of this interior design course is not about fabrics and decoration, but on planning and designing three dimensional spaces. However the use of fabrics and decoration is touched upon within each project.

Throughout the course you will build a portfolio of design work.

There will also be an opportunity to practice your drawing skills, including technical, freehand drawing and 3D representation.

By the end of the course you’ll be able to produce a clear and concise design package in accordance with industry standards and specifications.

Throughout the course you will build a sketchbook, demonstrating the development of your ideas, and a portfolio of design work including a range of different projects.

Please note: While an ability to draw freehand is not a prerequisite for being accepted on the course, you will be required to explore different ways of drawing (sketching, freehand drawing and technical drawing) and model making to communicate your design ideas.
