Course aims:
This course will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to gain a Level 2 qualification. You’ll develop an understanding of the diversity and complexity within construction, the roles and responsibilities of its employees and possible career routes.

The course covers workplace safety, sustainability, regulations, safe working practices and you’ll also have the opportunity to achieve the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme.

By the end, you’ll have developed the skills required to progress onto the Level 3 Diploma or seek employment.

Entry Requirements:
Minimum 3 GCSE grade D or Equivalent in English, Maths and one other.

The cost of these courses are split into 3 categories. Category 1: If you are aged between 19-23 years and are studying at the level of your chosen course for the first time. This applies to Level 1, 2 and 3 courses. If this is your first level 3 course, the upper age limit is 24. Category 2: If you are in receipt of a 'work- related' benefit such as Job Seekers Allowance, or that you can self-certify (sign a form) that you are actively seeking work. Category 3: if you do not sit within Categories 1 or 2, this will be the cost you will need to pay for your course.
