Course aims:
Would you like to develop your Body Massage Skills?
This massage course will teach you the skills needed to deliver a professional standard of body massage, you’ll be trained in the correct techniques to provide the greatest relief and relaxation for your clients. Throughout the course you’ll also develop your knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology and how to apply this effectively to your massages.
This course will enable you to work within holistic therapy practices, leisure centres, health clubs, spas, salons, cruise liners, hotels, or in a self-employed capacity, at home or overseas.
You may also wish to continue study in associated therapies such Aromatherapy Massage, reflexology or Indian Head Massage which are also offered as part-time courses.

These include 3 large well-equipped and recently modernised Beauty/Holistic salons and a large reception area that serves both Hair and Beauty.

The Beauty and Holistic Department is managed by Georgia Christoforou, a highly skilled Beauty and Holistic Therapist and an enthusiastic and experienced teacher.
The Beauty and Holistic team is staffed by highly motivated tutors that are passionate about their subjects and have excellent links with employers.
Assessment: Written Assignments, Written and Practical Assessments, Portfolios & Research work. External written assessments in Health & Safety, Massage and elements of Anatomy & Physiology

Entry Requirements:
You will require theLevel 3 Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology or T/501/9101- Knowledge on Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology for complementary Therapies or willingness to work towards the qualification.

There are various courses that the Masseur may want to attend in order to further their career. This includes Advanced Massage, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage & aromatherapy.
This qualification enables the Masseur to work within a holistic practices, spas & health clubs or in a self employed capacity.
