Routes Into Work
At City College Brighton and Hove we have developed a new and innovative model designed for those aged 18-24 and have been unemployed for 9 months or more.
The Routes Into Work programme has been specially developed to offer you the chance to develop your skills and earn industry recognised qualifications - in key industry sectors areas that are currently looking to recruit within Brighton and Hove.
Everyone who enrols on the prohramme will have the opportunity to attend the ‘core’ generic units, which will develop your work ready skills. In addition you will then choose from a range of ‘Industry Pathways’ which will lead to sector specific courses.
The core units you can study are designed to prepare you for work and include:
Each of these pathways provide recognised and valued qualifications.
Having completed your core units we will then give you all the support and advice you need to choose which pathway you wish to go through.
These include:
All of these courses have been developed to tie in with the current employment shortfalls within Brighton and Hove, therefore maximising your chances of success once you have completed the free training.
