Shine - Courses for the unemployed
Is it time for a change?
If you have been unemployed for 6 months or more, learning a new skill could open doors to a new career.
City College Brighton and Hove has teamed up with local employers to develop a range of free short courses designed to give you the edge when applying for a job.
Our aim is to help you get back into the workplace and to support you with continued training once you are in a job.
What makes these courses different is that they are industry recognised certificates - often a requirement of the job you would be applying for.
Free short courses on offer include:
- CIEH Level 2: Health & Safety in the Workplace
- CIEH Level 2: Food Safety in Catering
- CIEH Level 3: Supervisory Food Safety in Catering
- CAMFAC First Aid Appointed Persons
- National Certificate: for Personal Licence Holders
If you have been unemployed for 6 months or more then take advantage of our FREE training courses.
