We offer two teaching qualifications to suit applicants with different needs:

National Award in Education and Training (formerly PTLLS)

January '17 (Tue) January '17 (Thur) February '17 (Fri) April '17 (Tue)

Part-time level 3 National Award in Education and Training (formerly PTLLS)
These are short introductory courses, appropriate for you if you are considering a move into teaching.If you would like to apply for this course, please apply online or download our Part-time application form.

You must also complete a supporting statement to accompany your application.

If you wish to apply for January intake courses, please note interviews will be held at the Business and Professional Open Evenings in 2016.

 

Teacher Training - TAQA L3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement

October '16 April '17

This course will qualify you to be an NVQ Assessor. You will cover all the essential principles and practices of training assessment and quality assurance, including assessing competence and achievement. 

Professional General Certificate in Education (ProfGCE/Cert Ed)

September '17 

Part-time level 4 Professional General Certificate in Education (ProfGCE/Cert Ed)
In conjunction with the University of Brighton, which has a national reputation for excellence as a teacher training provider, the College also runs this two year, part-time course for those already teaching post-16 students.
