Train to Gain Eligibility
Eligibility criteria for Train to Gain
Employees
- Employees should not have already completed a full Level 2 qualification (e.g. NVQ2) or have 5 GCSE's at grade C and above or equivalent, although some qualifications can be offered as repeat NVQ Level 2.
- Those employees who can demonstrate Level 3 (e.g. NVQ3) capability and who have no existing Level 2 qualification will be able to access Level 3 provision as 'jumpers'.
- Available to volunteers and the self-employed.
- Eligibility will be by self certification.

All employers are eligible regardless of size, sector, location, or ownership.
