What is Tourism Futures?

Tourism Futures is a partnership which is supported by City College Brighton and Hove, Brighton and Hove City Council and many other organisations within the city. The purpose of the project is to provide training to the Retail and Tourism sectors within the City of Brighton and Hove.

Tourism Futures includes the following sectors: Hotels, Restaurants, Visitor Attractions and Retail. The Tourism Futures Group works together to provide the employers with a clear understanding of training and recruitment on offer in the city.

Tourism Forum and Tourism Futures Charter

All Retailers and Tourism businesses within Brighton and Hove can sign up to the Tourism Futures Charter for free and thereby join the Tourism Forum. The Charter represents a formal commitment by the Tourism and Retail sectors to maximize training and recruitment of local people. The Tourism Forum meets quarterly to provide the local employers with information on the recruitment and training available to their staff within the City and to offer the chance to network with others in the industry.
