Booking Homestay

Essential next steps after your visa has been granted

Once your visa application has been successful you will need to think about the type of accommodation you would like to live in.

If you would like to stay in Homestay accommodation (staying with a family), you should:

  1. Complete the City College Request For Homestay Accomodation (PDF, 60kb) and return it to our Accommodation Officer via fax: +44 (0) 1273 667721 or email: accommodation@ccb.ac.uk.
  2. You should receive an e-mail about your host family's details at least 48 hours before you arrive in Brighton. If you have not received this information by this time, please contact us on accommodation@ccb.ac.uk.

Please ensure that you complete all sections of the Homestay Accommodation Request Form. We cannot book you a homestay until we have all the details.

Homestay Arrangement Fee

You are required to pay a one-off, non-refundable homestay arrangement fee. This is £25 if you are coming to study on the English Language Summer School and £50 if you are studying on any other course.
