Sussex horticulturalist Paul Thomas, whose garden ‘The Outside World of the Indoor Plant’ won a Gold Medal at Hampton Court Flower Show, recently showed horticulture students from City College Brighton and Hove around his new greenhouse and offered them advice about succeeding in the gardens business. Paul owns The House of Plants, a specialist indoor plant nursery in Mayfield.
Business Accounting tutor Fraser Hamilton says:

Paul Thomas (second from left) meets City College students Renee McAllister, Allison Bath and Lucas Dowse
"It was an excellent visit as Paul was very passionate about his business and supporting his former College. The students really enthused about how useful the visit was and how inspirational Paul was regarding how he set up The House of Plants."
