Catering students from City College Brighton and Hove have been chosen as the 'cover stars' for the events programme and marketing literature for this year's Brighton Food & Drink Festival. Festival Director Paula Seager says:
"The City College students make the perfect cover stars for this year's festival - they are our own city's budding young chefs and they will also be playing an important role at one of our main events this year, the stunning Regency Banquet at the Royal Pavilion."

The Regency Festival Banquet on the 28th September, created in partnership with City College and the Royal Pavilion, has been inspired by the father of modern haute cuisine and 19th century chef to the future King George IV, Antonin Carême ? renowned for being the first 'celebrity chef'. Just 100 discerning diners will have the chance to enjoy a stunning Regency-style Banquet in the Banquet Room at the Royal Pavilion. The event is sponsored by Hardys who will be providing a fine wine for every course. The six-course menu includes Sussex produce and diners will also enjoy live musical entertainment, a private guided tour of the Royal Pavilion and a Regency-themed gift, as well as entrance to an after-banquet party at a nearby 'hostelry'.
