Christmas Comes Early at Connaught Centre

7 December 2005

Dyane Brown didn't know her luck was in when she enrolled on her Adult Education course at the Connaught Centre in Hove. Waiting for her was a surprise gift of a Christmas Hamper offered by the College to mark the 3,000th enrolment on courses this year. Dyane says:

'It was a wonderful surprise. This is a real treat for myself and my twin daughters this Christmas. The Connaught Centre is such a nice place to learn. I'm on my second year here studying sculpture and experimental textiles. I've always been interested in the arts and am hoping that all the knowledge I have gained at City College will help me move into teaching.'

'Dyane's success is an inspiration to us all and is a marvellous example of the way Adult Education opens up doors for so many people and offers something for everyone. If your New Year's resolution is to learn a new skill or broaden your horizons, the Connaught Centre is the place to come.'
