City College Brighton and Hove, through Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) procurement procedures, has appointed its professional team to turn its vision for a new College into reality. London based architects BDP have been appointed to detail the master plans supported by a number of other professional bodies:
? SBA (Traffic consultants)
? Broadway Malyan (Planning advice)
? Thomas Eggar (Legal Services)
? Ecology Consultants (Ecology Surveys)
In February, the College unveiled plans for a new Further Education College to meet the needs of the 21st Century. In bold plans for the redevelopment of the estate, the core component of the vision comprises the consolidation of learning delivery by the College over three main sites in the City.
Principal Ann Smith says:
"We are extremely confident in the appointments made to deliver the redevelopment plans for the College. These are exciting times for turning our vision into reality."
Project Managers, RLF, based in Brighton, will be leading the team through the challenging processes to secure the funding, planning permission and construction on behalf of the College.
