City College announces Autumn Open Evening Dates

City College Brighton and Hove, recently praised as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, has announced its Open Evening dates for the Autumn term. The dates for Open Evenings at the Central campus on Pelham Street are Wednesday 12th October and Tuesday 22nd November from 5.30pm to 9pm. Courses and facilities that are primarily based at the Central Campus are Art and Design, Beauty Therapy, Business, Carpentry, Catering, Childcare, Computing, Digital Arts, Electrical, English Language, Hairdressing, Health and Social Care, Higher Education, Photography and Science. Staff from the College’s East Campus will be on hand to provide visitors with course details. The College is welcoming parents/carers to come along to find out about vocational courses for 16-18 year.olds and adults are also welcome to come along for information on evening and weekend courses.

There will also be Open Evenings at the College’s City College East campus on Wilson Avenue near Brighton Marina on Thursday 13th October and Thursday 24th November from 5.30pm to 9pm. Courses and facilities that are primarily based at City College East are Acting, Drama and Dance, Building and Maintenance, Filmmaking and Animation, Journalism, Motor Vehicle, Music, Sport and Public Services. Visitors will also get the chance to see the College’s new £800,000 state-of-the-art Motor Vehicle training facility.
