Spring awards winners and runners-up with Phil Frier
Principal Phil Frier says:
'The City College students who were winners and runners-up at the Spring Awards summed up for me what the Further Education sector is all about. There were students who'd had terrible personal setbacks and overcome tremendous hurdles and those who'd simply thrived once they'd been given the right opportunities and appropriate support. The fact that their ages ranged from late teens to late thirties also showed the diversity within the sector and the importance of lifelong learning. When you heard about the journeys these students had been on to achieve their success, you couldn't fail to be moved. It was a very proud evening for City College.'
