Adults who want to gain professional qualifications or learn new skills are being invited to City College Brighton and Hove’s Adult Education Enrolment Evening on Tuesday 6th September at Pelham Tower, Pelham Street, Brighton from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
At the event, potential students can get advice and information about a range of Adult courses and Saturday College classes running in 2011/2012, many of which are commencing in September. They will also be able to enrol, pay for a course on the evening, fast-track an Adult Education application they’ve already made or find out about the College’s Programmes for the Unemployed. For local employers, the College’s City Business Skills team will be on hand to provide information and advice about meeting their needs for staff training, business short courses, part-time qualifications and Apprenticeships. The Learning Resource Centre will be open so that visitors can sample the range of modern learning facilities available at the College. The event coincides with the announcement that the College can now waive tuition fees for unemployed people on state benefits thanks to a recent government U-turn and visitors will be able to find out about financial assistance for tuition fees that they may be entitled to.
