As part of its ongoing strategy to build strong and lasting links with the local business community, City College Brighton and Hove has recently been welcomed as a new member of the Brighton and Hove Chamber of Commerce. President of the Chamber, Julia Chanteray, says:
'City College's membership is significant because both organisations are vital to the local economy and we both provide education and training so we're looking forward to working collaboratively with the College, engaging with the local business community. I'd like to see us working together on key events and the College will be able to use us as a conduit to get their message out to businesses.'

City College's Principal Phil Frier says:
'Our job and mission as a College is to train the local workforce so it makes a lot of sense for us to be working with the Chamber who do such a great job of engaging with so many small and medium businesses and also with some of the larger corporations in the city. The relationship will help us to connect with employers both to provide training for their current employees but also to ensure that our young people get the type of education that'll make them ideally suited to working for those businesses in the future.'
