In an innovative move, City College Brighton and Hove has launched its own travel agency, City Travel, based at the College's main campus on Pelham Street, Brighton. The agency is owned and run by the College in partnership with Hays Travel which supplies the agency with ABT (Association of British Travel Agents) and ATOL (Air Travel Organisers License) protection for customers. City Travel also gives students on travel & tourism courses the opportunity to get real life work experience within a live travel agency. City Travel's offer includes short breaks, low cost flights, package holidays, cheap luxury cruises, long haul flights and tailor-made getaways. All educational/College trips are booked through City Travel all profits from the agency are fed back into the College to support students in their studies and enrichment activities.
The agency is run by Juliet Littlechild who has over eight years experience in the travel industry. Juliet spent four years with Thomas Cook as a Travel Consultant and Customer Service Manager and also worked for Virgin Atlantic for over three years as a senior cabin crew member.
