Local teachers are being offered the opportunity of getting some hands-on experience of the type of skills that are being taught at City College Brighton and Hove, Sussex's top-performing Further Education College, at a 'Teacher Taster' event on Wednesday 15th June from 4pm to 6pm
'As well as being a fun, practical event where teachers can try something new in one of our specialist subject areas, we hope these taster sessions will give them a real insight into what learning opportunities are open to the students they're currently teaching after they leave school', says City College's Principal, Phil Frier. 'We have a variety of one hour sessions available which we hope will give the teachers the chance to experience our fantastic facilities, meet some of our tutors and enjoy our unique atmosphere.'
