The first XI football team at City College Brighton and Hove continued their remarkable unbeaten run with a 7 – 1 demolition of Sussex Downs College in the England Colleges Football League.
A hat-trick from Adam Mitchell and goals from Ryan Storrie, Will Dennis, Necat Karasahin and Jake Mills completed the rout. The side are now unbeaten in seven months in all competitions, and find themselves six points clear at the top of the league, in the semi final of the County Cup and in the last sixteen of the national cup competition. According to Head Coach and former Albion legend Richard ‘Chippy’ Carpenter, their success is down to combination of talent, working hard in training and a good team spirit.
