College gains NCTJ re-accreditation

The National Council for the Training of Journalists has re-accredited journalism courses at City College Brighton and Hove. In recent years, the College has been acknowledged as delivering one of the top performing NCTJ journalism courses in the country. City College’s journalism department is also noted for attracting high profile guest speakers such as The Guardian’s investigative reporter Nick Davies and renowned media commentator and former editor of The Daily Mirror, Roy Greenslade. The news comes at a time when the College has just been graded ‘Good with Outstanding Qualities’ by Ofsted.

An NCTJ spokesperson said: 'The re-accredited courses continue to show a commitment to providing the gold standard qualification and delivering high-quality journalism training to students who have the talent and dedication to succeed in their journalism careers.'
