City College Brighton and Hove is promoting its course offer to students during 'A' Level results week to ensure that they're fully aware of the opportunities available at their local Further Education College. City College has many years experience of delivering Higher Education (HE) programmes blending academic and work-related learning which aim to equip students with the knowledge and skills to pursue their career or further study. There are currently limited spaces available on FdSc Computing (Networked Services), FdA Music Production, BA (Hons) Computer Music Production (1 year top-up degree), FdA Fine Art, FdA Digital Media Design, BA (Hons) Digital Media Design (1 year top-up degree) and FdA Travel & Tourism and FdSc Biological Sciences.
Dan Wilkinson, a former Digital Media Design student at City College, says:

Dan Wilkinson
'The blend of professional and academic learning works really well on these courses and gives you good practical insights into your chosen career as well as preparing you for further study.'
Principal Phil Frier says:
''A' level results week can be a very daunting time for students as they anxiously weigh up their options so I think it's important that they know about the many opportunities that are open to them at their local FE College. Our Higher Education tutors have fantastic teaching credentials and by working in conjunction with University of Brighton, we can offer students the benefits of being based in the heart of Brighton with the rich cultural and social life of the city, while at the same time having access to the University's facilities. Students might also be interested in checking out our other vocational courses, depending on course availability and what grades they've achieved.'
