17-year-old Archie is in his second year of the Advanced Apprenticeships in Sporting Excellence (AASE) programme, and also boxes for Tadley Amateur Boxing Club. In May this year, he was crowned Junior ABAE Champion and he was also named 'Achiever of the Year' recently at the Argus Achievement Awards. Adam’s award was for the immense amount of time he gives to developing the sport locally and for the success his boxers had last year.
Speaking at the Awards, Cllr Bill Randall, Leader of the Council, said: 'These awards celebrate the special achievements of people in the city. Sport and physical activity plays an important role in improving health and wellbeing, bringing communities together, and contributing to the economy of the city.'
