Amy Blackburn, who recently completed a Performing Arts course at City College Brighton and Hove - and who is also one of the 'cover stars' of the College's latest prospectus - has become one of the 'Tigers' team on the popular Channel 4 series, 'Shipwrecked'. In the series, ten 'shipwreckers' are split across two islands. After five months of each team battling to win over the weekly new arrivals, the biggest team wins £70,000!
Steve Lewis, the College's Director of Visual & Performing Arts says:

Amy Blackburn
'I'm not surprised that Amy's audition secured her a place on 'Shipwrecked'. She was an outstanding student ? outgoing, committed and really supportive to other students on the course. As well as being a great team player, she displayed a real talent for comedy and I'm sure she'll have all the right qualities to be popular with viewers and do well on the show.'
