Free dance spectacular at City College

20 May 2011

After an exciting year that has included competing in the national Dance Challenge and an acclaimed performance at the prestigious Sussex Spring Awards, students from City College Brighton and Hove's Street Dance course are staging a free showcase event at the College's Main Hall (Pelham Tower, Pelham Street, Brighton) on Monday 23rd May at 7.30pm.

The show will feature a range of styles including hip-hop, musical theatre, can-can, Bollywood and flamenco. Tutor Amy Ferguson, a contemporary dance professional who has worked on Britain's Got Talent and X-Factor, says: 'I've seen all the students really grow both as individuals and dancers and for this event, they're really looking forward to demonstrating the level of professionalism they've achieved.'
