Caroline Lucas said:

'At the heart of the Green Party manifesto is the provision for more jobs, more apprenticeships and more opportunities for young people to find employment. Here we can see the wonderful City College Brighton and Hove, central to this pledge, providing training and opportunities for young people."

Phil Frier, Principal of City College Brighton and Hove said:

"We were delighted to welcome Caroline and the Green Party to City College. It was great that she had the time to visit our Carpentry students and see all the wonderful facilities here and opportunities we provide for young people wishing to move into the Construction industry. We believe that investment in training and skills are the way to best prepare this city for recovery and we were encouraged to hear that Caroline felt the same way."
