With September being the traditional time in the academic calendar that people expect to be starting a new course, City College has begun an awareness-raising campaign to highlight the fact that there is an exciting range of its courses with start dates in January, February, March and April 2011. Subjects covered include Journalism, Anatomy & Physiology, Bookkeeping, Computing, Electrical, English, ESOL, Film-making, Health & Social Care, Indian Head Massage, Web Design, Air Transport plus Teaching courses covering English and Maths. 'In many ways, the New Year is the perfect time to get started on a course that could mean gaining a new skill and qualification and finding a new direction in life', said Principal Phil Frier. 'I'd really encourage local people to get in touch with us to see how we can find a course that suits them for 2011.'
