Youth charity The Prince’s Trust is calling on unemployed young people from Brighton & Hove to join a new course to help them into work. The Trust is looking for unemployed 16-25-year-olds to take part in its free three-week ‘Get into Customer Services’ programme, running in Brighton from 13th February. The course will be run in partnership with City College Brighton and Hove to help young people gain the skills and confidence to find work.
As part of the course, young people will spend a week learning customer service and employability skills from an industry professional before completing a two-week work placement in a customer service environment. All participants will be offered six months mentoring support after the course to help them find a job. Last year, more than three in four young people helped by The Prince’s Trust moved into work or training.
