Industry experience and preparation for employment are key aspects of foundation degrees at City College Brighton and Hove and FdA Music Production students have recently had work experience in two of the South's leading studio complexes, Brighton Electric and Church Road, successfully recording bands and solo artists. Now, the College has formalised an ongoing agreement with Brighton Electric to offer four final year students a six month internship whilst they study on the course. Brighton Electric Studio Manager James Stringfellow says:

'This will give the students first hand experience of assisting some of the in-house sound engineers and eventually running their own sessions. It will be great for their CVs when they're seeking employment in the industry - there is no other experience like actually being part of a recording session.'
